Before you buy

Will an eSIM work on my phone?

Your exact device model must support eSIM and be unlocked for other networks. Check your manufacturer's specifications and your current carrier's lock status. Support can differ by country of sale, even for phones with the same name.

Which package should I choose?

Choose the destination or region you will visit, then filter by data allowance and validity. Check the package's coverage and start conditions before buying. A regional name does not mean every country in that region is included.

Does my plan include calls and SMS?

Our travel plans provide mobile data. Unless the package expressly states otherwise, they do not include a local phone number, traditional calls or SMS. Internet messaging and calling apps can use your data allowance.

Installation and activation

How do I install my eSIM?

Use a stable Wi-Fi connection. Open your phone's mobile network settings and choose Add eSIM, then scan the QR code from another screen or use the manual installation details. Follow the phone's prompts and label the new line “eSimgator”. Install each eSIM only on its intended device and keep the QR code private.

When does my package start?

Read the activation policy for your specific package. Installing an eSIM and starting its validity are not always the same event. Some plans start on connection to a supported network; others have different conditions. Do not assume every package can be installed long before departure.

Turn on data roaming for your travel eSIM

At your destination, enable the eSimgator line, select it for mobile data and turn on its Data Roaming setting. Leave data roaming off on your home SIM unless your home carrier's plan covers it. Turn off automatic mobile data switching to prevent data falling back to your home SIM.

iPhone / iOS

  1. Open Settings → Cellular (or Mobile Service / Mobile Data).
  2. Select the eSimgator line and enable “Turn On This Line”.
  3. Turn on “Data Roaming” for that line; on some versions it is under “Cellular Data Options”.
  4. Return to Cellular → Cellular Data, select eSimgator and turn off “Allow Cellular Data Switching”.

Android

  1. Open Settings → Network & internet → SIMs (Google Pixel), or Connections → SIM manager (Samsung).
  2. Enable your travel eSIM and choose it for Mobile data.
  3. Open that SIM's mobile network settings and turn on Roaming / Data roaming. On Samsung this is usually under Connections → Mobile networks; ensure the travel eSIM is selected for mobile data first.
  4. Turn off automatic data switching or backup mobile data. Menu names vary by manufacturer and Android version.

Troubleshooting

I installed the eSIM but have no internet.

Confirm you are inside the plan's coverage area, have remaining data and validity, and have selected the travel eSIM for mobile data. Enable data roaming as above. Toggle airplane mode briefly, then try again. Check the package's APN and supported networks if supplied. Do not delete the eSIM while troubleshooting: reinstalling may not be possible.

I cannot scan the QR code.

Display it on another screen, or use the manual activation details provided with your order. Confirm your phone supports eSIM and is unlocked. If it says the code has already been used, contact support instead of repeatedly deleting and reinstalling profiles.

Where are my installation details?

Check your email and spam folder, and sign in to My eSIMs using the email used for your order. If details are missing, contact support with your order number. Do not place a duplicate order just because an email is delayed.

Can I share my connection?

Check whether your selected plan allows hotspot use. If supported, enable Personal Hotspot or Wi-Fi hotspot on your phone. All connected devices consume the same data allowance.

Orders and cancellation

Can I pay in euros or US dollars?

Yes. Choose EUR or USD at the top of the page before checkout. EUR is the default. The total shown at checkout is charged in that currency; USD prices use the ECB reference exchange rate. Your bank may apply its own conversion or fees if your card account uses another currency.

Can I buy eSIMs for my family?

Yes. Select a package and choose up to 10 eSIMs at checkout. Each eSIM has its own QR code and is intended for one device. All eSIMs in that order use the selected package. To buy different packages, place separate orders.

Why does my bank show a pending payment?

We first reserve the total on your card. We charge it after we confirm every eSIM in your order. If the order cannot be completed, we cancel the reservation without capturing the payment. Your bank decides when a cancelled hold disappears from its app.

Can I get a company invoice?

Choose “Buy for a company” at checkout and enter your company details. After payment, your invoice is available in My eSIMs and attached to the eSIM email. Open it to print or save as PDF using your browser. Contact support before ordering if you need a specific tax treatment.

What does the 14-day cancellation period mean?

Where applicable, consumer law gives you a period after an online purchase to change your mind. If you request an immediate start, you may owe a proportionate amount for service already provided if you cancel. Your cancellation right may end once the service is fully provided with the required consent. Receiving a QR code does not by itself mean you have used all your service. See our Terms of Service for the policy and contact support to request cancellation.

What should I include when contacting support?

Send your order number, phone model, current country and a description or screenshot of the error. Never send your card details or account login code. Share installation codes only when needed in a private support conversation.
